How to import CSV into Excel - the correct way

Please follow these instructions to ensure our Invoices Online csv exports are correctly imported into your Microsoft Excel.

  1. Open Excel.
  2. Go to the Data Tab.
  3. Click on From Text.
  4. Select the Exported CSV file.
  5. Choose Delimited under Original Data Type.
  6. Choose 65001 : Unicode (UTF-8) under File Origin.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Uncheck all items except Comma, ensure Text qualifier is set to " (double quotes).
  9. Click Finish.

That's it, you should now be able to work with your data in Excel.
